§ 03 · How to read these

Real campaigns, measured results

Answers the buyer's actual question "does link building actually work?" with evidence rather than adjectives.

Each study below is a real client campaign: the situation, what we built, and what changed. We measure the things link building can move; authority, referring domains, rankings for the pages we worked on, and increasingly whether a brand gets cited in AI answers.

Honest framing

What we don't do is promise a number before we've seen a site. Results vary by sector, starting authority and competition. The studies show ranges, not guarantees.

The pattern across campaigns

01

M-Flux vetted

Every publisher scored through the weighted formula and a 33-point manual quality check before it qualified.

02

Client-approved

The client saw and approved every site before a link went live, no surprises in the profile.

03

Compounding authority

Results build rather than spike; the profile keeps working after the campaign ends.

What clients say

174 verified
reviews across Trustpilot, Clutch & Google
They have a unique approach to link building that is proving to be forward thinking and very effective. They understand how to write for the reader whilst being concious of the search and they cut through a lot of the jargon that you get from other agencies. They are proactive and genuine in their approach to everything they do.

§ 07 · Why the results hold

How we get these results

Every site in these campaigns was scored by M-Flux and passed a 33-point manual quality check, and the client approved it before the link went live. That's why the profiles hold up and why the results keep compounding after the campaign ends.

Case study FAQs

What is a link building case study?

A link building case study is a written account of a real client campaign, the starting situation, the links and authority signals built, and what changed as a result (rankings, referring domains, traffic, and increasingly AI citations). It's evidence that a method works, rather than a claim that it does.

Are these real client results?

Yes. Every study is a real Linkology campaign. Some clients are named with their permission; others are described by sector where they'd rather not be identified. The figures are the client's real outcomes, not illustrations.

What results can I expect from link building?

It depends on your sector, your starting authority and your competition, which is why these studies show ranges, not guarantees. What we do guarantee, on a Managed Authority Campaign, is movement on three agreed KPIs: see the Results Guarantee. What link building reliably moves is authority, referring domains and rankings for the pages worked on; we won't promise a specific number or traffic figure before we've looked at your site.

How long until I see results?

Authority compounds rather than spikes, so meaningful movement usually takes a few months and keeps building after that. The case studies show the timeframe for each campaign so you can see a realistic pattern rather than a promise.

Which sectors do you work in?

These studies span pharmaceutical, legal, e-commerce and travel, but we build links across most sectors, including regulated and competitive niches. If your sector isn't shown, it usually means we simply haven't published that study yet.
